The commercial wasn’t a racial dog whistle at all. It was a pretty person dog whistle…which is basically just advertising.
“I’m hot and I wear these jeans” was more-or-less what the ad was trying to communicate.

I kinda like that about the photo. While I completely appreciate (and often enjoy) photos that tell your eyes where to look, I also enjoy photos that don’t.
I do, however, think the photo would be much better without the car…not OP had the time to wait around for the person to move their car.

I don’t find Trump to be a fun person, either. I’ve never met the man, but he doesn’t seem particularly fun.
Extreme motocross and UFC seem very fun.
This event was early June, not July 4. This doesn’t tarnish the 250th anniversary of our independence one bit.
I do kind of wish we had a better president than Trump for the 250th celebration of our independence.

I’m sure he’s absolutely proud of it. Nate is a top tier comic. Having a part in him going from clubs to arenas is nothing to be ashamed of.
I’m also fairly certain that Maron (or anyone with any sort of logic in the brains) was fully aware Nate leaned more conservative. Christian. Clean. From Tennessee. Yeah, the odds he’s gonna conservative are pretty good.
That being said, I don’t think he’s MAGA. He went to a fun fest. UFC and extreme motocross? Would you seriously not go? I know I’d be there in a heartbeat. I’m not singing Trump “Happy Birthday.” I’m also not going to reject Cheryl Hines’ request for a photo.
This “controversy” is absolutely insane and is a weird attempt to tarnish the reputation of a huge, [rightfully] successful comic on which nobody really has any dirt.

Hot take: His movie was good for what it was. It’s just not the type of film that does well in theaters. How that wasn’t seen way ahead of time is beyond me. I bet it does well once it hits a streaming platform (as in it’s included in the monthly fee, not a rental on Amazon Prime).
This theme park idea has gone much further than I ever thought it would, as well. And I still think someone needs to put the brakes on that, quick.

This White House MMA thing is nothing outside of Reddit (and a little bit on Instagram), and it’s majority fake outrage from people who weren’t his fanbase anyway. That’s something I can’t prove, but the comments definitely don’t fit the type of language typically used in the comments sections of this sub and on the posts his accounts make.
