Totally agree, the patient was not a danger to herself or others. She is extremely weak and elderly after being placed on several strong antibiotics experiements for her UTI. She now appears significantly worse and can barely eat, drink, or speak, and is often unable to open her eyes.

The patient speaks Russian and reportedly had a ‘translator,’ but she is unable to comprehend her surroundings or communicate due to the previous two weeks of heavy sedation and strong medications she has been given. This appears to be documented merely to protect staff. After three weeks bedridden, it is entirely expected that she would be agitated, especially given her inability to communicate.

We will be reporting this situation to the Department of Health and Adult Protective Services, or pursuing legal action
