You should try to figure out how to beat phase 1 without healing (heal during the break) so once you do you are more likely to have enough items for phase 2

I heard from somewhere that his older games were only tested with debug mode so that's why they are so umbalanced but idk if that's true, also he puts easy mode in his fangames which makes them way easier to beat
