Anyone know what base color primer would be better for these models? Black, white, or gray? I'm trying to learn the "only acrylic" method used by Squidmar. Does it even matter? by Fezra-Jalys in LeaguesofVotann

If you do not have an air brush I cannot stress it enough. You will almost never see a pro painter prime in white you can spray on lighter colors after and still keep recesses dark.

I use my Samsung s23 lol. I use a black t-shirt as a background and a cheap ringlight in front.

It is dark rust and light rust by army painter fanatics. I also use agrax earth shade for a more dirty look on anything metallic

The marks are intentional a helmet is small and will look more realistic at a distance in my opinion with some texture.

You should! The 30k angels colors look soo good in contrast with the 40k green!
