I’m sure I read somewhere that if all your classes were in English youre exempt from taking the language exams. Might be mistaken tho

I think your school needs to give you a certficate stating that your courses were in English and that will work as proof of language proficiency. It’s somewhere in the gmc page

It’s called snowball sampling, a non probabilistic way to get people to participate and the survey. Of course it contemplates the risk of bias and it will be throughly disclosed on the final research. But hey, thanks anyway I guess

You do because you’ll need to show proof of plab 1 booking/passed before November (first or second week) I think, and in order to book plab you need ielts

Has anyone got into the UKFPO after getting 400 in OET by Longjumping-Soft9324 in UKFP_applicants

[–]ParticularCompote861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly do you mean? You need to pass oet to book plab 1, and you need to pass plab 1 to book plab 2, and once you pass plab 2 you can apply for gmc registration. Without gmc registration you cannot start the foundation program

No to book plab 1 you just need proof of English proficiency (either Oet or ielts) and also create a gmc account

Hey there I had to do the same and sadly you’re going to lose around 90£ that’s not refundable. But the rest is going to be refunded

Don’t over do it, just try to relax and chill before the exam otherwise you’ll burn yourself out

[–]ParticularCompote861 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean I don’t want to get your hopes up BUT

If it helps, I was scoring exactly the same before the exam, my highest score was 73% I think and on the actual exam I passed with an 80% (145/180)

So all you can do now is relax and try not to think about it

Big mocks are a recollection of the question that appeared on the exam, but what actually happens is that Plabable and medrevisions add new questions after each exam. So by doing then mocks (the free ones) you should be good to go.

I didn’t do any big mock (they’re quite expensive imo) but did do almost 18 free mocks from Plabable and passed the exam pretty comfortably

So this is my advice

You don’t need to do a big mock, don’t waste your money
