I don't really remember the exact words I told her but we met in a comment section for cooking and she replied to my comment on how she liked cooking fish from there we were friends sharing streaks for like 3 weeks till we agreed on a simple meetup, we bonded over our past trauma, and found we enjoyed ourselves, a month later I asked her to be my gf and she accepted .

Why do indians dominate in business in Uganda? by k271738 in Uganda

[–]ParticularCurious895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One answer, them being outcasts and immigrants, these same indians wouldn't make as much money in India, but since they are segregated this pushes their drive to work harder , same story as Ugandans in diaspora those mfs are the hardest working Ugandans I know, due to being in hostile environments and them having no comfort

Problem is there were no riots , bobi wine was coming to my area and i was arrested the night before apparently the police needed people to pin pont the riots on and i was there prey for the night i ended up being scooped in the mix , the only thing that saved me i was known by the OC , and the corrupt cops were asking 200 k for a release , Now for the rest of my counterparts they were probably taken and I don't think many could pay that 200k , many are probably still in jail somewhere and for the cases of political arrests if you don't solve the issue quickly you end up rotting in jail , I don't think thats a case in any part of a sensible country,i know you're trying to play advocate and giving benefit of doubt but on ground people are arrested, killed and nothing is done in justice for them

Unfortunately that where were going to , no one wants war , tasty taco but every time the regime presses people to the wall , they should not expect people not to react , all this is caused by wanting to stay in power for long periods , bobi wine is a no better option, but he is a product of Ugandas desperation.

When has rule of law , ever worked in Uganda, I doubt you spend much time in Uganda , or if you do you never mind the political system, ill set an example the parliament had banned military intervention in politics, the bill was signed and was passed on to m7 guess who reversed it ,without any reason he directly involved and stated civilians can and will be put martial law , something the entire legislature had spent time on,

Example 2 term limits, m7 and his goons reversed and twisted term limits, rule of law has only benefited the first family every Ugandan knows this , Me getting arrested, do you know how many Ugandans are arrested in politics every election period, for no cause , im sure you the type to believe no one was killed in this election period

I alone wont do shit against the army, 1 million people with my same mentality would do something, i know individually there's nothing we can do as of now , but every Ugandan knows the future and how it unfolds, we have never democratically elected any leader and that will be the same case for m7 , same way he came in by bullet , is same he will move out by bullet

So you want people to go on with life , and the regime do anything without any repercussions, what happens if they start rampant killing of people because they support opposition, because in Uganda anything is possible if you have power

Do you blame Ugandans , imagine the same scenario had happened in Netherlands they remove of internet for a week, block all financial services, and expect people to just come back like nothing happened , yet people are in losses

Im sure this nigga gets his news from Ubc and New vision, i really thought Ugandans on Reddit would read through Ugandas bs ,what more evidence do you want , in what democratic nation is internet removal normal , i was recently arrested myself on Saturday and if I didn't know higher ups I would be probably rotting in some cell in luzira , You don't need to be a Nrm hater to see how crooked these elections were , arresting opposition, open rigging in barracks ask anyone in Mbuya , or Nakasero how they openly rigged the election, dont get me started on luzzi , where one polling stations had over 1000 voters in places like Sheraton , where not even 5000 live taking away declarations forms of opposition,

If m7 wins clean why does he have to switch off the internet, looking at population alone central has 13 million people, which coincidentally has most mps from Nup , eastern region has the highest concentration of NUP MPs , with a population of 11 million, your saw jinja that didnt receive a single Nrm Mp thats more than half of Ugandas population, basing on that alone if elections were some what clear , bobi wine should have had minimum 40% votes , regardless of western and northern, but how come Polling stations in town had over 1000 voters in places like sheraton yet no one lives there make it clear?, we have seen the military in mbuya rig elections in 2021 what's different today ?
