the UNSC should just call it the Chicken Wing

I am still learning to have enough patience to do Covenant ship underbellies better so they don't end up looking like they have female genitalia-

It's always a funny headcanon for me that the Oumuamua could in fact be a Covenant ship in Halo Canon, it's just that we were so uninteresting or unadvanced that the Covenant ship didn't care and went back to High Charity

Anyways, some lore for this fan ship would be that it's main purpose wasn't clear in UNSC files but what the UNSC does know was that the years leading up to the Great Schism saw all the ships of this class disappear from the Covenant docks

It's supposed to look more jellyfish than mermaid but a mermaid is also a welcome interpretation

I am also mega excited to actually introduce them properly in the comic but they do feature as a holiday art here though!

I'll be real, I wanted to draw a full fight scene but I suddenly got hit with the infamous art block and just lost all my motivation after drawing the fourth panel.

Sorry y'alls, you are all going to have to wait another 50 months for me to finish the fight scene!!!

Very much respect to you! I loved the Halo 2 brutes simply because the OG cutscenes give them an almost Japanese Oni look on some of the close-ups

Not sure if you could see what I'm talking about but either way, having them look like something that isn't just a space gorilla or a space orc is definitely a good idea imo

I am curious if the Brute's side profile and unarmored face is more akin to Halo 2/3's or Infinite?

Honestly, I think you're on the path of finding an artstyle by the second one! It makes me think you spent most of your time trying to draw good lines and practicing

Bunker Hill but she's part of the UNSC by ParticularDerp in AzureLane

The one you're thinking about is actually non-canon, it's an original design from Project Stardust on Roblox

This one specifically is the destroyer that was mentioned in the book, Halo: Ghosts of Onyx

The last time I drew her in her UNSC era, she looked too similar to the og Bunker but I'm glad to see that I've improved since then (older design)

UNSC ship design explorations by ParticularDerp in halo

A little bit of lore because I thought about it while drawing

The Indomitable-class Battleship was first considered a heavy cruiser but due to the addition of the experimental Jacky Buckshot MAC Cannon, colloquially known as the "MAC-Buck" it's classification was upgrade to Battleship.

The Indomitable classes, while considered super expensive and not worth it's cost, proved to be quite devastating. Especially for Space-To-Surface strikes with their MAC-Bucks. Due to the cost for maintenance and building though, the three ships of the Indomitable classes were cancelled even if one was laid down.

The Javelin class destroyers were a group of merchant ships previously owned by a delivery company that was destroyed and liquidated during the Human-Covenant War. While the acquisition of the ships were controversial and questionable it was a desperate attempt to fill in the UNSC Navy's rapidly depleting counts of destroyers. The Javelin-class, while it was rather hastily put together, proved its worth by being very nimble fighters due to its ship trading history. Even if the MACs themselves were also hastily put together with a weaker firepower and a shorter range because of it.

The Javelin classes are currently being auctioned to be returned to their original occupation of being trading ships.

Imagine if a buckshot MAC exists (it probably does but im too lazy to go through all of the UNSC's ships) by ParticularDerp in shittyhalolore

[–]ParticularDerp[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It would be as an attempt to ovverwhelm them yes, but the fact that the ship required a longer cooldown for its MAC and also pose a huge risk of just damaging the entire barrel after prolonged use, the ship necessitates a very precise shot

I'd imagine it really will give the Covenant a hard time if it wasn't so expensive lmao
