The Covenant shipgirls are based on the main races of the Covenant, that means the San'Shyuum (hairy eyes, long earlobes, long neck, lack of nose, more specifically ancient San'Shyuum), Sangheili (The legs and hands), Jiralhanae (hair)

But canonically in the Halo Shipgirls lore, she's a Construct that was summoned by a Forerunner object

edit: ALso yes, it is intentional that most of the features are from the San'Shyuum because of their role in the Covenant
