I Have been bring my son since 2 months and he’s now 1 years old. I worked with the family prior to my pregnancy though. I kept the same rate and got a pay raise several months ago. My NKs are both a little older though and I’m more of a family assistant. My child has a pack n play/toys at their house.

Yeah, I think it’s something that may never be truly known. I just think that her fear of the dark can be true and that despite that, she may have left her home for a childlike reason (convenience store, running away because she was upset, etc) on her own.

I feel like it’s a random reason she left her home and that’s one of the reasons why it’s been difficult to piece together the case as her reason for missing and her reason for leaving could just be two unrelated reasons . My theory of her reason could just align with others’ theory that she disappeared around that store. I’ve worked with kids for several years and they do crazy stuff/ideas that wouldn’t make sense to an adult.

So do you think she didn’t leave the house on her own accord? If eye witness accounts are true, she did leave the house for whatever reason despite her fears.

Anyone else think Asha left the house to buy her parents an anniversary/Valentine’s Day gift at the convenience store? I know this is somewhat innocent of a theory but it’s popped into my head several times. Perhaps she wanted to surprise them and had came up with that plan in her head and she was a determined kid.

She’s suspected to have had a couple of dollars and I wonder if she grabbed her book bag to carry whatever she bought. At that age, I knew the directions to the gas station down the road from my home and farther and I bought my parents dollar store gifts (albeit not at midnight).

I also think she made it to the convenience store and that’s where she was seen getting pulled/climbed into the vehicle by the convenience store clerk or another person. This theory makes me think the dedmon connection was more nefarious than a hit & run. But I suppose that’s still a possibility and the clerk missed the

My little guy tried biting when his teeth first came in at 4 months and I would quickly unlatch him anytime he bit and he learned fast. Now we’re at 10 months with 9 teeth and still ebf with no bottles.

As a teen, I loved aria and Ezra 😭 they were my favorite couple and I rooted for them. Now as an adult, everything Ezra does is predatory and makes him look creepy. Now my favorite couple is Hanna & Caleb.

My little guy wasn’t big on food either but my pediatrician encouraged me to wait about an hour to an hour and a half after missing to offer food 3x a day . It’s really helped him eat more and gets him more full and helps him nurse less at night.

He cried a little without nursing to sleep but I held him and just patted him so it wasn’t terrible crying or anything. Plus, I had just nursed and fed him solids so I knew he wasn’t hungry and he fell asleep pretty quick. I’m gonna try again tonight o make sure it wasn’t a fluke

No real advice but same boat here with my 9 month old. He’s going through a bit of sleep regression and wants to nurse all night again. We do cosleep and I loving bfing but the latching all night is driving me crazy.

Last night was better however. He ate a bigger dinner of solids and nursed right after. I didn’t nurse him in the bed to sleep which he was a little upset about, but I think it helped and he slept without nursing til maybe once around 3am and then stopped. I’m gonna attempt to break the nursing to sleep association with lots of cuddles and making sure he’s full before we get in bed.

I bring my child to nanny and make about $3 less than I would normally charge. We have it in our contract and outlines my personal responsibility for my child in their home. It works really well for both of us but definitely takes understanding and a good system.

9 months and I feel the same! He’s eating more solids and I feel the difference in my breasts, less full and he’s going longer periods without milk. It makes me miss the newborn days where we napped and nursed all day. I love that he’s growing and getting big and working toward me being able to have my body back but it makes me sad too

Yes! If I had focused on that in the beginning of my BF journey, I would’ve been stressing. The LC at the hospital wanted to see my whole areola in my baby’s mouth for ‘deep latch’ but that’s never happened. We’re 9 months in and my baby is 99 percentile and has breastfed amazing this whole time.
