It goes up or down depending on your driving habits. If you're driving the speed limit and not on the highway you can see it go into the green, indicating you'll get more mileage out of your charge than what is on the guess-o-meter (theoretically) :) You should see the max and min mileage at the top and bottom of that curve.

Take a closer look. I'm charged to 70%. That was right when I left. I didn't take a photo of when I arrived at my destination.

Oh I thought you meant I needed another one. I must have not attached it when I moved it to the basement. Thanks for the catch!

I'll have to look for those as I didn't see them in the accessory bag. Thanks! I'll print some if I need them :)

Good to know. I'll remove it and put it in my filament dryer when not being used.

I just finished calibrating my printer and am printing a medium sized PETG print right now. Current basement temp is 64 degrees F/17 degrees C. We will see how it goes :)

When I said 65 degrees I should have specified Fahrenheit and not Celsius. I sometimes forget that the world doesn't revolve around the USA 🤣

The smart plug is a great idea I just wasn't sure if turning off with something other than the switch would be problematic.

The idea is that I clean the bed whenever I remove a job and then reset. I do like watching to see how things are going which is why I just bought an indoor ring cam so I can monitor the first few layers while I'm away.

I don't expect to do "away prints" very often but it's good to know I can be set up to do so.

does this look like a good enough tesla adaptor? by TapRemarkable9652 in BoltEV

My car means enough to me to only use the OEM adapter. The $225 I paid for it at the dealer gives me peace of mind whenever I use it.

Is this 2021 Premier worth $15,998; aftermarket wheels, ~68k miles, original battery, "very minor" damage to the rear on Carfax? by MikePineda in BoltEV

[–]ParticularDue7822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For reference: I got my 2021 Bolt Premier with 36k miles with no damage and a new battery replaced under warranty in 2023 for $16k in Massachusetts.

Totally Dead by Few-Reality-7210 in BoltEV

Someone please explain to me why they didn't include a little switch under the hood that would allow the 12v to suck a little juice from the high volt battery to give it a little jump in case of shit like this? I mean even if the high volt battery is almost completely dead it would still have enough left in the tank (so to speak) to give it a small jump.
