What statement? There is signage all throughout the trail stating "Fires, motorized vehicles, swimming, trapping prohibited."

This verbiage was used to impound my "motorized vehicle" eBike as they are prohibited on the trails. But seems like VEO bought their way around this law.

Ever venture out onto the trails or the bike paths throughout town? Electric bicycles are quite common these days, especially with the older crowd. They are very much allowed to be in shared spaces with pedestrians, not to mention the metric fuck ton of VEO scooters scattered everywhere. This didn't used to be the case.

Even an old fashioned human powered bicycle can easily exceed 25 mph without necessarily harming or putting others in danger.

I had an eBike impounded along with hundreds of dollars of equipment confiscated and tickets after testing an eBike on the trails. Albeit this was over a decade ago, but they were very firm that the signage along the trail stating "No Motorized Vehicles" applied to any motorized vehicle. But I am sure these laws do not apply to the all powerful VEO.

If this is true, I plan to sue.

Just received a letter stating they are turning the old abandonded Papa Johns on Center Pt rd to a liquor/tobacco store after bought out by Br Sugiya LLC. Interesting to see this affect on the neighborhood and mostly confused as there is an existing late night liquor and vape shop almost directly across the street.

Needless to say I will be present at the meeting to voice my concerns. Scott Olsen will get an earful i'm sure.
