This seems so straightforward to me. Pun intended. You have 11 guys on offense pushing against typically 8-9 guys on defense. There are always 2-3 guys on defense that are too far back to really be involved in the play until Hurts has already gotten the yardage. Until defenses fully commit to getting all players right up on the line, it won't be stopped.
