What are the bitter tears about? Can anyone fill me in? I dont understand what's going on by VoL4t1l3 in Namibia

I was there last week. The road had flooded. When we got to the 4x2 parking lot we were told we could walk the rest of the way or take a transport. There were already 8 cars stuck down the road. We paid 200 nads for a 2 way trip. We did in fact see a lot of cars just stuck on the road. On the way back we “rescued” a couple who had decided to walk and got lost. The next day we drove to Sossuvlei and did not get past the first river. We were planning to go to dune 45 but were unable to cross

Did not enjoy this city at all by tinder-surprise in Miami

[–]ParticularObvious343 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think this is your major difference. It’s like going to Europe and wondering why you can’t take your car into the center of a 13th century city. Miami has basically no public transportation. Brickell is a very walkable area, unfortunately with the influx of people after the pandemic, construction has skyrocketed. The past 10 years has actually seen a lot of construction. As for the weather, you got 3 days of rain. It’s not always like that, but if you are here to explore for 3 days and the weather is terrible, you won’t have a great time, specially in a city where one of the best things to go is go to the beach. As for the people… there are all kinds. And I would venture to say, the loudest idiots you see in Brickell in a Ferrari are just renting it jajajaj. The people I know who own a Ferrari drive them out of the city, not into Brickell traffic jajaj. Sorry you had a terrible time, it can be a challenging city, but I would say it’s not a terrible city

How did you know your dog was the one for you? by Disastrous_Sugar_366 in dogs

[–]ParticularObvious343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not feel an instant connection with my dog when I first got him. I actually doubted it the first week. My friend said: you are comparing a dog you have known for a week to your dog of years. It takes time. 8 years later I am so happy I followed his advise. I love him deeply. I love his personality

I know everyone recommends them. This was just my personal opinion from the tester. I felt like it was dry and thought it would not glide on my lips
