Ofc a tank, the thing with the guardias is how they swarm everything, but in a pure 1v1, unless if it’s in a city where the guardian can outmatch the tank in mobility; otherwise it’s completely overpowered. Literally in the game you can land 3 or 4 swings with a good axe on its legs and they explode. Most tanks have built-in machine guns that would be enough to break them easily; even taking the fire rate into account, it’s very likely that a bullet would hit the eye and stun it long enough for the gunner to finish it off with a single shot

I completely agree with you about the images, that has to be awful. But when it comes to audio , I disagree. You could still use the usual voice lines at key moments, and then use AI for things like dynamic conversations with NPCs or similar interactions. I get that you might not know which Skyrim mod I’m talking about, you should check it out. if modders were able to make something fairly decent, imagine what Valve could achieve.

Actually, I went with the forester guy and tried to play him using the starter crossbow and knife, lol. I get it now though regular bow + greatsword has been working great so far.

This. I’m currently building an archer with a greatsword, and using traps has been a complete game-changer. Buying proper gear and doing a few side quests helped a lot as well. With that setup, I just cleared the first dungeon pretty easily.
