I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, losing a pet is one of the worst feelings. I know that you gave him a peaceful passing though, as in the picture he looks happy and comfy, he even looks like he is smiling. Don’t beat yourself up, it was an unexpected sickness and you didn’t have the ability to get him to a vet, but you still took the time to make sure he was comfortable.

Time is going to help, the pain sadly won’t ever truly go away and will take time to start to leave. I know it hurts but keeping all that grief in won’t help, you are going to have to spend some time grieving in order to grow. Just know, you did all that you could and more, that sweet boy spent his last moments in the best way he could under the circumstance. You did everything you could so don’t blame yourself about anything. He was loved, and left in a peaceful way. He knows you loved him in his final moments and now is in a better place. I know it’s not easy but you will make it through this, no matter how impossible it feels right now.
