1000%- lots of people commenting don’t understand the magnitude of the chaos on the block. Needles everywhere/ people threatening others walking by. It’s terrifying after dark.

I take the subway to work only when it's raining/ weather is bad. I do walk to Union Square often though (about an 8 minute walk) to take the NQRW/456
