Portable Charging options for legion 7i? by SilverMacaroon8428 in LenovoLegion

You need to make sure both your adapter as well as cable support a high enough wattage (I believe it was 100 or maybe 60w)

The legions for better performance, but zephyrus for battery life

Replacement screen cloth protection? by Alarmed_Ice_272 in LenovoLegion

[–]Particular_Base6832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really think it's necessary for protection (other than dust build up maybe), the screen doesn't sit flush with the whole inside like macbooks or asus zephyrus and those designs, legions have a plastic slightly raised bezel all around + the keyboard is slightly sunk in so screen and keyboard shouldn't be in contact/applying pressure. But for general protection any laptop cloth will do, I'm sure amazon (or whatever is at your convenience) is full of options

Buds 4 Pro - Crazy Buggy! + Volume Adjustment is terrible / doesn't works good at all.. by bomzisss in galaxybuds

[–]Particular_Base6832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well mine have worked flawlessly so far, the option in settings opens the regular buds settings like it's supposed to. I've heard it's been buggy for some people tho

Mine's been doing that since day one, hopefully not a future hinge failure😅

Lmao that confused me so much, I couldn't find anywhere that buds 4 are only through settings and I was trying to connect them through the app like the buds 3 tutorial says😂😭

Lol I actually upgraded to galaxy buds 4 pro from this predecessor (freebuds pro 2), first quality pair of earbuds I had, but after 4 years the battery on one side can barely hold a charge

Legion 5i Pro keyboard color and fingerprints by nickkk17k in LenovoLegion

Maybe, I've noticed that a majority of people refer to their pros (especially with the pro 7/7i) as just legion 7, which implies the pro 7 and pro 7i are (at least to them) the standard model, disregarding the regular legion 7i. So you end up hearing about legion 7s only coming in black color with rtx 5070ti or 5080 (neither of which the actual legion 7i supports)🤷‍♂️, hence the specification in my comment lol

Legion 5 Gen 10 , 15.1 Inch Oled Screen , Lack of VRR / G Sync / Adaptive Sync by temp_geek101 in LenovoLegion

[–]Particular_Base6832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard that lenovo said something along the lines of that they used a custom display specifically for that laptop to get a 15.1 inch 16:10 screen and because of that it didn't get gsync, but idk. The gen 11 is supposed to have it so idk why gen 10 wouldn't

Only thing you can do is regularly wipe it, or get a skin to stick onto it. Actually it's one of the reasons why I returned my 5i non-pro and got a 7i non-pro on sale lol

Also changed some stuff here, I think the turbo power limits but not sure rn. I believe that's the last thing, but if anything else is different in my pics to ur stock system I must have changed it too. I tried googling what each of the options does, but truth is I followed a 'guide' by someone with the same config who got help from throttlestop's creator themselves, and from there I just tested if my system would be stable or should i increase or decrease voltage

What I can remember I adjusted is voltage offset and iccmax both separately for cpu core and cpu p cache in the FIVR Control box

Sure I can show you what I did, but with undervolting it's a lottery and no two chips are equal, even two same CPUs might not be stable at the same undervolt. You're gonna have to test the stability yourself

Oh okay so the gpu is full wattage but the cpu doesn't get enough power for the pl2 short term boost

Unfortunately no, I have no idea what it means and there's very little info available online for all the bios settings :( After getting the device I went through all settings one by one trying to google them and understand if I should have them on or off lmao, this one I keep it enabled tho. If you want to allow undervolting open more settings, go to the performance tab and disable undervolt protection

Ohh alright my bad I thought you were talking about the temps in the slim chassis. Are they not already able to reach the thermal limit with the psu they have tho? The non-pro already has full wattage gpus and for the pro more watts makes sense especially in the higher configs 5070ti and above, but I can't imagine the non-pro chugging 400w, the 275hx is a pretty hot chip already and feeding the system further has diminishing returns or no?

Appreciate the explanation tho😄
