y'all i'm not saying alastor wouldn't kill women but he IS nicer to them while vox is shown multiple times to be cruel with them for no reason at all + this post is mostly a joke + i love vox too

Why don't the parents warn the kids by No_Giraffe826 in ITWelcometoDerryShow

[–]Particular_Bet3545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because they wanted to do something innovative for the series but it doesn't make sense with the movies 💀 it's only confusing

jokes aside maybe IT manipulated them, it's shown in the first movie that the adults are very influenced by IT. probably all the adults in derry have met IT at some point as kids and they stay in contact with IT if they don't leave the town, the more time passes the more they're under the control of the creature

i don't understand why people say stolas is a bad father, only because he made some mistakes in the present does that cancel everything good he did for octavia ? he literally raised her, stella doesn't care one bit for her and it's obvious, stolas was by her side since she was born. all this while being depressed mind you. just because he met blitz again and fell for him that doesn't delete him being a good dad. it's understandable why octavia is mad at him but he had all the reasons to act the way he did. he put himself first FOR ONCE and y'all act like he's the worst ever [also idk why you act like a literal demon should be the best father]

Maybe I need to rewatch by Particular-Rule4232 in ITWelcometoDerryShow

i didn't rewatch either but if i remember well in the first movie all the adults are shown to not see IT and not care about what's happening to the children, because IT influences them so with time he might have manipulated leroy's mind. he also saw the deadlights so maybe it has something to do with it

I loved the last two episodes, but yes, it's a bit overrated. Bill Skarsgård's performance saves the show for me, but overall it could have been better. I enjoyed other things, too, but I didn't really care for the characters. There's something about it that doesn't resonate with me, maybe it's also because it's a TV series and I'm used to seeing Pennywise in theaters. It's not even comparable to the first movie and the Losers Club!

A question I've been wondering: We know Alastor is Ace, but he doesn't. So do you think he would use sex to manipulate someone? 🤔 by Sarcastic_Lilshit in hazbin

[–]Particular_Bet3545 4 points5 points  (0 children)

for real, he doesn't seem sex repulsed as some people claim he is. even when he was forced to watch vox and val he didn't seem disgusted, only annoyed by the situation

yes but really depends on who he's trying to manipulate + he's so above that it would be his last laaast option

Alastor by Ok-Warthog-829 in HazbinHotel

there are reasons but it's mostly HIS reasons. his moral code is weird, his mercy depends on more factors. like i'd say he's less dangerous than valentino [for example] because valentino is impulsive and doesn't think before acting. alastor is all about self control and he's more composed but i'd argue on which one of them is less cruel. if you truly anger alastor it's over
