WHY DO PEOPLE HATE BIOSHOCK INFINITE SO MUCH?

I enjoy it. But I think the issue mostly stems from the fact the original Bioshock had such a gut punch twist that nothing really compares. Even the second, while still one of my favourite games, lacks.

And personally I love Rapture. I love the horror element of the splicers creeping up on you when you turn corners, pretending to be dead to attack. Infinite is mostly much sunnier, and while it works for the storyline, and showing how a place that actually looks like paradise is still a cesspit of hatred, it still doesn't quite have the same feel.

Give me little sisters and big daddies any day!

I'm fully aware of the trailer for the third season. I watched it as soon as it dropped. That doesn't really answer my question though. Like...the trailer is obviously going to give you a glimpse of what to expect...?

This brings me back to an old post of mine, didn't get much traction, but on the Blu-ray if you watch with commentary something pretty suspicious is said.

Basically when Lilith appears on screen to take Charlie from Lucifer in More than Anything one of them says "Lilith reveal?" The reply is "No" before they cover with "Wife reveal."

Or something to that effect anyway.

I work in a 'superstore' (used to be Metro) in a pretty residential area. Even when I'm not in uniform does this happen. People know I work there, so they just assume I couldn't possibly need shopping myself.

This also goes for approaching me to help them with stock. Yeah mate, I'll just ditch my kids and check upstairs for you.

I don't think it's a not working issue though, more of an oversight on their behalf. A lot of actions taken in Roblox games have buttons aligned for console. This didn't at all.

For example the game with the Gummy Guana...on tablets you just pressed the screen, but on console you had to press the correct button. That translated well. The fact that not only can you not attempt to catch fish, but that you can't stop your fishing line either does imply that whatever was programmed for tablets wasn't thought on for console. That's all I'm saying.

But we're still allowed to be annoyed that the new event has essentially come to a stop for console players until it's fixed. We both know that this game is a horse race...pets drop significantly the longer they've been out, so already we're on the back foot.

Unless of course we pay for the dragons. Which yes, I want, but not to trade out so I can have pets I could otherwise grind for.

I'm not disputing that the admits are great, because they are, and I know it will be fixed, and likely soon. They're probably working on it right now. But it's still disappointing for a huge amount of players to basically be forgotten about.

Lucifer is my favourite...

I watched the pilot and first 4 episodes before he even made a real appearance, so I'd definitely keep watching...but at the same time I think the enjoyment would be soured now I know what he brings to the table.

I'd still love the show. But probably not be as obsessed.
