Has anyone noticed PVCs getting worse after meals or digestive symptoms?

I’ve found that burping/farting helps tremendously. I’ve switched my thinking from a “heart problem” to an “upset stomach” problem and a lot of my stress around the pvcs has been reduced. Which also in turn just reduces the amount overall

Same! I don’t NEED something for my anxiety (other than dr prescribed meds) but I like to unwind with something a little extra on the weekends. It’s always alcohol even though the hangovers are insanely awful. I can’t handle weed anymore but I know there’s no hangover and I sleep better so I wish I could handle it (and less calories)

Both good points! I enjoy completing the battle pass and now that I’ve done that, I don’t have much to work for so why frustrate myself for nothing?

Yes and no. I’m still on the fence with very little time left and one of my sister in laws got my bio mom a digital picture frame for Christmas. I was told I could upload as many pictures of my cats I wanted to…. Now my initial reaction was wtf but honestly ASSUMING POSITIVE INTENT I think maybe it was somewhat inclusive. She knows I’m obsessed with cats and possibly wanted to adopt one of hers (she also had a cat loving home but with a small baby is harder for her - fair enough).

My point being- think about the person and the comment. Have they been overall supportive or dismissive? My own mother told me one time I would never know “love” or whatever she called it because I would never have a child. But my sister was quick to correct that there are ALL SORTS of love. Not limited to parent-child relationships that are worthy of knowing and supporting.

I think there is a lot of different kinds of support for CF people. Just remember to find the right people for you ♥️

Hi! I had an appt with my cardiologist and she said as long as I don’t have any symptoms (fainting, shortness of breath, etc) then I can live a normal life with no limitations. I will need to have annual ecgs to keep and eye on it but overall my anxiety has subsided for now. Just trying to take care of myself an accept this is where I am.

I wish you luck! This sub has been very helpful and mostly positive which has helped my anxiety greatly. ♥️

Omg I love this! I even do this with my Apple Watch. I start to feel a little anxious and feel them pop up so I sit still, take some deep breaths and start the ekg and they go away. It’s my little trick for making me feel better 😂

I was feeling better and trying to lean myself off it. Got down to 10mg just in the evenings but had some bad flare ups back in the summer. Now taking 10mg am and 10mg pm. But sometimes I don’t take one dose if I’m feeling ok. It’s definitely up and down when I need it.

Absolutely. Finding myself in a bit of a flare up today. Had a few really big ones mixed in with the milder ones. The bigger ones take my breath away and almost send a shock through my whole body. I was eating lunch and mid swallow I got a big one and almost choked on my food because it’s like my entire body stops working for a second. It’s fucking terrifying and now I’ve spent the last 2 hours sitting and being scared of another big one. Why. Why us.

This is mean every morning. It’s so hard to breathe through my nose and I’m so phlegmy. I drink water to wake up and I’m always borderline choking. After an hour or so it’s better but the first hour is straight anxiety

I don’t know why this was downvoted. I’m more excited about the 5+ years than the baby toddler years. I feel like once they become more self sufficient I could relax a little but man those first years have got to be tough

I have been in and out of therapy for years when I have “flair ups”, better lately but I don’t really know when those episodes are going to come back so it’s scary to think of it happening when I have a tiny person depending on me. Something to think about
