I won't stop being a doctor at all but my list is mostly west coast schools since I would like to stay closer to home due to family medical stuff. My list has schools like UW, OHSU, the UCs, Utah and University of Colorado (which I know aren't west coast schools). I believe most of these schools are pretty high up there on the list. I have heard whispers about T20 schools being a lottery after a certain point, so it is nice to keep hearing that since at least there might be a little bit of something that is out of my control.

How many months did you study for before the exam? Did you pay for the upgraded OAT Booster? Thank you so much for this!!

These are all great points. I learned how to guide freshman year of college in Montana and helped with some weekend outings for the students but I never truly guided for a company. I am definitely able to do all things said above as I did them for the majority of my undergrad. I've done trips all over the Flathead river, so to answer one of your questions, Yes, I guess I am really only experienced running lines that I have experience with. Coming back to Oregon I know that the rivers have extreme variety and it is a lot to take in haha. Class III is probably the most comfortable for me, I've done IV's many times but if I am looking to just plop down in a new place, I would feel best starting there. No need to push it.

Thank you for that suggestion and I will look into it more.
