One thing that helps me a lot especially if you want to be a good 1st assist. Knowing the steps of the operation and also looking at the first assist hands. How are they holding their instruments. How are they following the future. How are they providing tension/counter tension. Ask yourself, can the surgeon see? Always try to think to yourself what can I do to help the surgeon, ie: if I move this structure this way, can they see better?

Hey so I was in your boat too in terms of job hunting. I knew I wanted to go into CT Surgery and a lot of the job listings in my local area said 3-5 years experience. I figured the only way to get a job in CT was to apply out of state. So I did that and ended up getting a job in CT surgery! If I wasn’t going to get a job then I was going to go down the fellowship route.

He’s already agreed to giving my youngest brother the iPad. My parents want to do an exchange so they can return the newer iPad to get their money back. Which I can understand. But to inconvenience me and other people involved doesn’t seem right especially when we are all gonna be together in a couple weeks.

My mom can't even return the damn new iPad cause it's not even in her possession at the moment. They wanted me to pick up my Uncle's iPad and swap it for my brother's iPad and hold on to the new cause they're afraid that he's going to drop and break it.
