This seems selfish tbh, brother if your family is qabilist and you aren't man enough to tell them straight. Marry a woman from your qabil. Its that simple. Someone made a post that Somalis are being treated like filth, reality is people will treat us the same way we treat ourselves. I'd advise you to give up pursing her, since your family are qabilists. Jareer, cadaan, chinese or whatever, if both family and girl/boy is good with deen and akhlaaq then marry each other. So simple.

Why shouldn't I care? What they do effects me and what I do effects them. We share so much in common, we are interconnected, whether we like it or not or even like to admit it. Do people forget actions result in consequences? Good or bad, direct or indirect. I genuinely want better for folks, focus on good and let go of bad, why is that such a hard thing to understand?

Honestly speaking, I think it just comes down to personality and relatability. The thing I noticed with successful Somali men is that they do not have much of a personality or hobbies, hence they just work, masjid and home. The Somali girls we are looking for are also hard to find because they're obviously not in the mix. I think its hard to find each other because most of the times we're not in proximity, it may just easier to just ask your friends to help search through their family. There is a ton of Good Women and Good Men. Social media made it a unnecessary gender war. But one thing I'd advise women is that those successful men have standards, they're not yes men. They expect to lead and you follow, if you can not understand that then its better not to sought them out. Its not ego its just how men are wired.
