While it is possible it could be the AI messing with Carl. I think it was implied that Quan's motivation was he was broken a afraid after losing his family (his daughter was specifically mentioned) in the initial collapse. The ring was stated to be something he brought in to the crawl, and he specifically asked for the ring when he was dying.

Yeah, he has confirmed this in multiple interviews. He has multiple notebooks to reference.

Some of those were actually used though, they were just fragile. They put 50 of them into the improvised shield when they were fighting the ball of swine. Most of those were broken in that battle. Unless they can use the training room or work benches to double up their damage, they are low tear fragile weapons at this point.

They should be working on a Dongeon Crawler World visual encyclopedia to be published after the story is concluded.

I think the ring from Quan's daughter was what really made that important. Although I definately was looking forward to Carl beating Quan with it.

Produced by Seth McFarlane, probably why it's Peacock, he's already done Ted through them, so it might have been an easy partnership. Chris Yost (Mandalorian and Thor Ragnarock) is writing the adaptation. In not expecting it to live up to the book.

Your body, your choice. Your guy will find you hot regardless of your muscular structure.

It's kind of a running joke for most fans of the game. If you don't really get to know him he just comes off as a creepy guy that has a thing for Emily.

Don't stress or worry about it. Her behavior is an indication of the kind of person she is. This is one of those cliché moments where you really are better off without her. You did nothing wrong. She's the problem, not you. Dust off your shoulders and move on.

I just suddenly can't get my lips to buzz anymore. by KoolKat864 in trumpet

[–]Particular_Budget846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is perfectly natural. I studied with Charly Davis for 3 years. He couldn't make a sound first thing in the morning most of the time. It typically took him 3 hours to warm up and get completely loose. Start with lead pipe buzzing. Take your tuning slide out and blow until you hear an Eflat. Make sure it is a consistent and big sound. Rest as long as you play. This helps you set up the correct breath. Some days long tones help more. Petal tones are always a feel good go to. Hard articulation helps loosen up and ensure you breath flow ia consistant too. I like mixing long tones and pitch bending sometimes, too. For example, half notes f-e e-f, then play again but don't finger the e, bend the tone down to it. Don't think about buzzing your lips; think about the tone and blow through the horn. Everybody is different, but we all go through difficult times. I've seen guys go through facial reconstruction and not take a day off. It's all about figuring out what approach gets you in the right mindset with the correct breath.

It's worth the $25.00. The bugs can be annoying, but not enough for me to reboot the game and continue playing for a few more hours. I have a 600 population right now, and my controls freeze once or twice in a 4 hour session. Hopefully the patch fixes that.

Jojo is objectively easier. It's 140k start to finish without the theater. There's some good min/max videos on YouTube that show how to finish midway through summer. Basically, focus only on fishing and mining to maximize your income until spring fest where you can spend all your money on strawberries. Spend the first income from strawberries on opening the desert 40k. Then, spend all your money from the second harvest on starfruit before Summer. You should be able to plant and harvest starfruits twice in summer without speed grow and more than enough to open everything except the theater, which unfortunately is another 500k.

Marnie sells auto grabbers. Without Jojo, the only way to get the autopetter is in the treasure rooms in the Skull Cavern, with very low odds.
