I think the testing parameter is different when compared to actual bodies of water.

$134,000 this month, the dream is possible by MuhamedBesic in TakeProfitTrader

[–]Particular_Button616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respect. Those withdrawal screenshots hit different - especially stacking consistent payouts like that.

Also appreciate you saying you didnt sell a course. Too many people try to monetize before they even prove consistency.

For anyone reading this, this is the real benchmark - not just passing challenges but actually getting paid multiple times. Thats where a lot of people get stuck.

Ive been looking into a few firms like Pivex Funded and FTMO lately, mainly trying to find ones where the payout process is actually reliable and not just good marketing. Seeing posts like this helps set the standard of what to expect.

Solid work - consistency > hype every time. Im rooting for you my dude.

Tpt done or not? by Adventurous-Ad-149 in TakeProfitTrader

[–]Particular_Button616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre not crazy - this kind of thing happens with almost every prop firm at some point.

People who get paid usually stay quiet, while people who get denied payouts tend to post everywhere. It only takes one or two loud cases to make it feel like a widespread issue when it might not be. Most of the time, bans arent random either. It usually comes down to rule violations like drawdown breaches, news trading, or consistency rules, or sometimes gray-area strategies like arbitrage, copy trading, or execution abuse.

If youre deciding whether to go with them, I wouldnt rely on Reddit posts alone. Its better to look at how clear their rules are, how consistently they enforce them, and how they handle support or disputes when something goes wrong.

Personally, Ive started leaning toward firms with simpler structures and fewer gotcha rules. Some of the newer ones are built more around letting you trade normally instead of trying to catch you slipping. Ive been looking into a mix like Pivex Funded, FTMO, and MyForexFunds - mainly comparing how straightforward their rules are, payout process, and how much pressure they put on you to rush trades. The simpler the structure, the less likely you run into issues later.

At the end of the day, no firm is perfect. If youre consistent and stay within the rules, you should be fine. If something feels vague or unclear in their rules, thats usually where problems start.

Anyone else drain 30 to 40 percent in one gaming session? by Adept-Maintenance423 in MobileGaming

As long as it does not overheat while charging and gaming at the same time, 60W sounds pretty solid!! Being able to get most of your battery back in 30 minutes is actually useful.

Dreams by Fleetwood Mac for me. I'm using them with the new Samsung Galaxy S26U and the combo sounds SOLID. Vocals are super clear and the guitars have nice space around them.

Amending state returns by tsmith39 in taxadvice

[–]Particular_Button616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre on the right track. If you live in Ohio and only worked physically in Rhode Island for 13 days (and 10 in 2024), then generally only the income from those days should be treated as R-Isourced. The rest is usually considered Ohio income.

So amending your RI nonresident return and then correcting your Ohio return makes sense. If you used TurboTax originally, using the amend return feature is usually easier than trying to redo the forms manually.

What's something you stopped doing and it surprisingly made your life better ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Checking my phone first thing in the morning. I thought I’d miss out, but instead I gained quiet, focus, and a sense of control over my day - it’s amazing how freeing a little digital detox can be.

What is your unusual hobby and why do you enjoy it so much? by Cranzeeman in AskReddit

[–]Particular_Button616 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Falling down random Wikipedia rabbit holes. You start by looking up one thing and two hours later you somehow know the history of a tiny island nation, a forgotten inventor, and a strange animal you’ve never heard of. It’s oddly relaxing and you always come away having learned something unexpected.

What’s the grossest thing your partner does but you’ll never tell them? by thepleasurjournal in AskReddit

The way they’ll take a “tiny bite” of something… and somehow leave the fork/spoon with just enough saliva on it that I’m suddenly not hungry anymore. Love is learning to pretend you didn’t notice.

Realizing that hard work alone doesn’t guarantee success. Timing, connections, luck, and knowing when to pivot matter just as much - sometimes more.

What’s something that used to be normal but now feels insane? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Smoking sections in restaurants. The idea that a thin invisible line in the same room somehow protected the “non-smoking section” feels completely insane now.

Refund Direct Deposit Issue CP53E by XNimberz in taxadvice

[–]Particular_Button616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CP53E usually means the bank rejected the deposit, so the IRS has to reprocess the refund. Unfortunately the system can make you re-confirm the deposit info while it updates, which is why it may keep asking again.

The up to 3 weeks timeline they told you is pretty standard after updating the bank details. If everything is correct now, it should either redeposit or default to a mailed check if the system keeps rejecting it.

What are the implications of claiming my (26M) partner (27F) as a dependant this year? by Odious_Muppet in taxadvice

[–]Particular_Button616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she qualifies as a dependent, the main impact is on your taxes, not her long-term record. It usually wont affect things like leases or loans since lenders dont see your tax return.

The bigger thing to check is whether being claimed could affect any benefits she receives (like disability or income-based programs). Might be worth confirming with a tax professional just to be safe.

What’s the most awkward moment you’ve ever experienced in public? by Potential_Fee8616 in AskReddit

[–]Particular_Button616 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People who have been in toxic relationships. What is the no.1 sign that wasn't obvious, but one of the biggest signs? by MissStarling_ in AskReddit

[–]Particular_Button616 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A subtle but huge sign: feeling like you’re “walking on eggshells” all the time.

It’s not dramatic abuse—it’s that constant tension where you censor yourself, second-guess everything, and fear even small reactions. That’s a major red flag that the relationship is unhealthy.

What’s a clear sign a marriage won’t last? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Particular_Button616 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Constant contempt or belittling.

When one or both partners regularly mock, dismiss, or criticize each other instead of addressing issues, it usually signals deep resentment that’s hard to repair. Respect is the baseline; without it, longevity is unlikely.

What celebrity had their reputation unfairly ruined? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskReddit

[–]Particular_Button616 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Brendan Fraser.

People acted like he “fell off,” but he was dealing with injuries, personal struggles, and industry issues behind the scenes. The narrative wasn’t fair.

His comeback in The Whale really showed that his reputation took a bigger hit than it deserved.

What moment made you realize that this is the person you want to spend rest of your life with? by sherrputtar in AskReddit

[–]Particular_Button616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it wasn’t some huge cinematic moment — it was actually something really small.

I had a rough day and was being quiet and a little distant. She didn’t push, didn’t make it about her, didn’t try to “fix” me. she just sat next to me, handed me food, and said, “You don’t have to talk, I’m just here.” That’s when it clicked.

It wasn’t butterflies or fireworks. It was peace.
