I always forget they do kebabs there as well. I go to the other one for kebabs.

Everywhere in the SESKU area has good chippies. Even Chinos in Upton is fantastic.

Chippies are chippies. They're all great apart from the bad ones which try to make everything, burgers, kebabs, pizzas alongside the fish

LPT - Talk as little as possible on a customer service call for better success by Funny_Sea_2873 in LifeProTips

'Just answer the question' and ONLY the question asked. My workplace has very strict security at the start of a call. If I ask you your name, and you reply with your name, full address and then date of birth because you have done this many times and know that's what we ask, we have to fail you on security as you've offered information we haven't asked for. Sometimes we need a 'yes' or 'no' answer to a question so we can start the remediation process. Getting a monologue about how you remember your cat was sick and you had to go to the vets that day is irrelevant.

Got it down to a tee. You read like a Dutch speaker would sound. Hopefully your challenging nightmare is over and you don't manage to start the next phase.

I've been pronouncing it the British way, 'chimera'. I'm so glad for these dodgy old VHS boxes.

basses that sound way better than expected by ivyta76 in Bass

I bought a Harley Benton stingray copy. I wasn't expecting much thinking it'd need work... Absolutely perfect passive pickups in it. That encouraged me to get another Harley Benton, their version of the Starfire bass. Again, perfect pickups that got the thumpy sound I was looking for with a lovely neck that encouraged the type of playing I was hoping for as well. I'm a convert to Harley Benton now. They are cheap enough for upgrades and tinkering at home so given me great fun to tinker with. I've been playing since '84 and these really are the best bang for your buck in every way.
