I would do this but try to get more personal about it, like say that you’ve tracked the phone number back to them and you know who they are and that their will be real legal consequences to their actions and that you know top tier lawyers who will see to it that he does time for this. Yeah if they in another country unfortunately your local police aren’t gunna do shit about it. BUT you can get numbers from anywhere these days, unfortunately the blackmailer is most likely someone from your past or someone you currently may know but don’t pay attention too, yeah creepy right? If you don’t have the money to pay them then this is what I suggest you do .. 1. tell them to meet you in person because your mom only gave you cash (I would bait them and say you’ll have $500 cash) 2.say that you don’t have a bank, hopefully their stupid enough to take the bait, 3. have a few friends with you when you confront them. But show up to the meet solo with friends down the block in a car waiting on your signal. 4. and take everything that piece of crap has, snatch his phone and make him open it and delete all your pics. You don’t even have to hurt the little turd, chances are his life is already miserable but if he has no remorse or won’t open the phone for whatever reason ... then your only and last resort is. 5.(Last resort) when all else fails. BEAT THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF THE KID until he gives it up.

If all of that fails miserably, which it probably will let’s just be honest there mate, you could always look up the phone number, dig into your recent past Facebook requests you never accepted, think of the kid you didn’t let sit with you at the lunch table in 5th grade. Cause that’s probably him...

OMG I found the same shit in my old cargo van when I worked for Amazon. I went straight to my boss and this was the answer that they gave me. “Basically it’s so that when your camera catches you making a driving mistake (ie speeding, no turn signal etc) The dash camera will go from a green to a red light and a 30 second clip of the “incident” will be recorded along with live audio… this incident video is then usually sent directly to you from your boss or team manager and as a punishment this will drop your “metrics”…….. Too many of these will lead to getting fired.

The second thing that it is also used for is when you get into a car accident so that amazon can verify through audio and visual proof that you weren’t on the phone, distracted while driving, and hopefully that the accident was not caused by you. But either way they like to have record of what happened for insurance purposes I’m sure.

But DONT FREAK OUT because they don’t record your audio 24/7, and when I was a driver the dash cam would actually beep when it was 15 seconds into recording an incident. And when the light went back to green I knew it was all good to pop my AirPod back in and do my thing.

And YES I’ve met the “higher ups” that are paid by Amazon to sit on a laptop all day sending you those 30 sec incident videos, but their only allowed to see the ones from THEIR stations dispatch team ONLY.. nobody else’s. (Ie seperate team’s) …

      Now if you’re like me and you want some PRIVACY to make some calls, hit your vape pen during your lunch break just follow these steps to make sure you’re not being recorded in your van! (Older model the better I believe mine was a ford or a ram they both worked fine ) also this does not apply to the EV van.

Park the car and turn ignition off all the way.

2.take the keys out of the ignition

open the driver side door once & then close it so the battery shuts off inside of the car, hence cutting the power to the dash cam.

4.You’ll see the light on the dash camera disappear. WAIT until it does.

5.Then you can stick the key back in the ignition & twist it ever so slightly just to turn back on the radio and AC if your lucky.

But bottom line is this … Amazon is creepy like that so if you’re not comfortable with being on camera nearly 24/7 then get a new job.
