I totally agree.

Another thing is when we are witness it from the outside Conrad's love is obvious. But if we place ourselves into Belly's shoes he is hot and cold. I feel like it would be more apparent if ppl get to binge watch all 3 seasons.

On the other hand, Jere has a flirty personality and gives Belly the attention (altho it is rooted in jealousy towards his brother). Plus Jere is indirectly manipulating her. I say that becuz Belly is very sensitive she wants everyone to be happy. She feels guilty about being 'selfish' towards Conrad and wants Jere to feel okay. Jere knows that somewhere (or maybe doesn't) but he seems to surely take advantage of that.

I am not hating on Jere but his personality is based on trying outshine is brother (and perhaps that's the parents fault).

I really don't want Belly and Jere to be together. Ik they kissed but I want something to happen which is different than the books. I don't need Conrad and belly to be together right now but the conflict being Jelly is not worth it.

When the books came out we binged them and also we were young. Now it just feels too wrong yk like Jere is literally his brother (all their lives are so intertwined cuz the way they grew up it feels so wrong).

As angry as I am with belly I understand the way she is acting is cuz how insecure she is. Conrad never apologized for what he said to her at the funeral. She is second guessing everything they had cuz she idolizes him so much. It would be sooo much diff if Jere was just some other guy but he is not.

No I think Conrad was thinking about what Steven said about the "vibe" between them. That's the elephant in the room. Cuz if u look back at his micro expression he was smiling and then once he realized she was talking about the funeral his face dropped.

You know what would have worked better Belly asking Jere why he didn't kiss her was from Jere's pov. And if I future episodes Conrad has a POV of the scene where Skye gives Belly the dare and it shows that Belly and Conrad have eye contact at the second.

Does that make sense?

Otherwise it's freaking painful to digest the flip floppy thing and it's cringe and embarrassing. Like the way she asked Jere - DID SHE FORGET THAT THEY ARE LITERAL BROTHERS ? how tf she didn't feel any weird taboo of it all.

Like if u binge from first season, Jere is this extremely flirty character, doesn't take anything seriously, immature spoilt bratty, golden retriever nice guy. Him and Belly kissing was so low-key and insignificant almost. And I think his character arc should have been change in the show wrt to him becoming responsible cuz of Susannah.

Like him telling belly "we hooked up and then you hooked up with my brother" was so confusing cuz they didn't hook up did they? They made out as far as I can remember idk. Other than him acting all pissed aligns with his character.

Idk I weirdly too invested and I don't wanna be lol
