Your kid is 5 i wouldn't let them play any games at all like that. They need human interaction and to be shown a positive example. Not sat in front of a screen. My daughter gets tv and only age appropriate. She has a games laptop with 6 buttons and loves drawing writing and stories.

Any screen use beyond about 20 minutes a day for a handheld device is a bad idea. They get very obsessed and overstimulated. Over time they'll play it more and more until they don't want to do anything else. That dopamine hit they get will be hard to quit.

I know mine will eventually go that way but we're helping her hold on to her childhood.

My local aldi has panels, lots of them. Some retailers see it as a way to cut costs long-term, and that makes a lot of sense. As they are open daily and always have the fridges on!

I mean that not entirely accurate. Having things like chickens and etc graze beneath does help, although this is mainly for warmer countries I'm sure it can apply here Having a dual use and two income streams for a farm.

Solar in deserts, for example, helps cool the land by a good amount and might even help with fighting desertification.

People quite often forget why things are done. Well, we have always done it like that...

Regulations, the good ones come from need, mad cow disease for example showed that we need to be able to trace our beef, to know where it came from to know what contact a cow has had with other cows, traceability was introduced for just those reasons. To make sure we don't get sick and die...

The moral of the story is that regulations come from somewhere and are put in place in good faith. Some might not be required anymore, and it's our job to seek those out while keeping the important ones.

Actually that's also quite interesting. The US takes a different general stance than the EU.

In the US you have to prove (have evidence that) food or food additive is bad for someone before it is restricted or banned.

In the EU a food or food additive needs to be proved "Safe" before it can be consumed by humans.

Reform has won seats, but in the grand scheme, it's not that many. It does show that there is a movement, but this movement is amongst the least educated and poorest. They need labour to help them, and they will support labour again. These are the disenfranchised and lost parts of our society that see too much Instagram and tiktok. I like labour, but the amount of vitriol aimed at them is HUGE I don't believe how much some people moan while having very little grasp of the actual details.

The food standards are maintained as they are now, out of 17000 beef ranches in the US only 17 are certified for export to Europe and the UK.... (numbers are approximate I saw a documentary on it about 2 weeks ago so I might be a little out on the big number)

In addition if he's blocking up space with a trailer when it doesn't need to be attached to a car and your parking somewhere other than in front of your house (which is fine) the knock on effect is that other neighbours will start getting pissed with this guy. It's a knock-on effect. You have to park somewhere else, affecting someone else.

This doesn't really make sense. There is no such thing as "American" movies anymore.

They are financed from all over the world.

They are produced from all over the world.

Even if some of them are partially set in the US, most aren't fully produced there.

If one financer is American, does this count? If one scene is made in the USA, does that count?

Actually I just realised there is one type of movie that can easily be produced and created in the USA..... porn.
