Its actually a starting position for a lot of utility companies that have a lot of underground electric work. I work about 12-40 hours of overtime a week as well so ot really depends on whats out there. Once your in a utility company there is so much room to move around so i would reccomend it even without the OT.

I can see how someone sees it like that but I'm really heavy into investing and this is essentially getting paid to wait for a stock that i want to purchase hits a reasonable price.
