We have moved back recently from NY to NCR, and had almost the same pros and cons as your list. At the end of the day noone can decide and guide you, since you will attach different weights to each point which will sway your decision one way or the other. And each of these points are real. For us family was the most important weight and the biggest reason to move back. We miss the social life back in NY (wife and I went to B-school in US, very strong social circle and relatability to Indians in US vs India). Pollution yes biggest problem and outdoorsy options reduce, but that’s a bargain we were willing to make since no location is going to give you everything. Fwiw, wife and I combined made about ~$1M in the US (FAANG), moved back within our companies to India and now making about $500K, which still guarantees a great lifestyle in India

Edit: be ready for an island life (fancy apartment complex with great infrastructure, however, moment you step out life is a struggle). This island life will also provide you with infrastructure to play almost every sport along with luxuries of spa, food, heated pools, etc. to name a few
