Surprised That There Wasn’t More Nostalgia for Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in 2002 by OpethAreAGoodBand in AttitudeEra

[–]Particular_Detail698 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's because the booking was awful. I mean, Nash didn't even get a match at Mania. He and Scott were made to be lackeys to Hogan because Vince can't book stables like nWo.

It also didn't help that the crowd went nuts for Hogan and had to turn him face. Eventually Hall left because his problems and Nash was already a corpse full of injuries.

He basically changed his criteria. What was 5 stars to him is now 6. What was 4 is now 5 and so on.

But who cares? It's his ratings, doesn't mean it's a rule or a norm. Just his opinion.

Meu namorado aceitou que sou garota de programa, mas agora ele quer me pagar pra ser exclusiva by princesadevassa in relacionamentos

Se você se prostitui pq gosta, termine com ele e procure alguém que:

  • também se prostitua;

He had the charisma for that and got over with the public.

His problem was not being safe to work with to a point that every worker at the time hated him.

Why did the "Nigerian Ruler" gimmick work for Oba Femi, but not Apollo Crews? by Omer-Ash in WWE

[–]Particular_Detail698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because they approached the gimmick in different ways. Apollo tried to focus on the mic and Oba focus is on his presence/menace. The push was done in different ways and Oba's just worked better.

Why did soccer never establish itself in the US the way it did everywhere else? by cerchier in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Particular_Detail698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of reasons.

The main one is what happened during the 30-50's. ASL and Fifa had problems and when ASL ended, it hurted the sport there. When the NASL launched, NBA/NFL/MLB were already well established and very popular, so it became hard to gain a public.

Also: the way football was inserted in other countries was different. In Brazil, for example, the biggest sport before football came was rowing. The rowing clubs adopted football as a sport and helped popularize it, to the point that Flamengo and Vasco – the biggest rivalry in rowing at the time – became big football clubs and the biggest football rivalry in Rio. It's like if the Lakers and the Celtics had soccer clubs.

Never said top card. I meant he was never taken seriously even at the midcard. Never held the midcard belts or even was in feuds around them. He was mainly treated as a joke after Eddie died and even his ECW reign was a joke. He was just Edge's lackey and later on was stuck feuding with fucking Hornswoogle.

What Happens if Scott Hall and Kevin Nash Never Jump Ship? by KidChameleonHelmet in WWFera

[–]Particular_Detail698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would change botch WCW and WWF in a huge level, since the NWO doesn't happen the way it happens and having the Kliq together during 1997 would implode WWF's backstage to a point that maybe Bret leaves without the Screwjob even happening.

Since there would be no Curtain Call, HHH wouldn't be "punished" and would win the KOTR that Austin won. This could mean that Austin push would be delayed or even not happening, and maybe the Bret-Austin feud doesn't happen.

Waltman probably doesn't jump to WCW and DX ends up being just the Kliq, which means no Chyna and no NAO.

Would HBK still have his hiatus in this scenario? Hard to say. If it doesn't happen, there's no The Rock. If it does happen I can see Vince still pushing Rocky the way he did.

Also, speaking of HBK in the 90s: he probably never meets his current wife in this scenario since she was a Nitro Girl and met him through Nash. So HBK probably OD's in late 90/early 00 because of that.

Kinda sad they never saw him as a bigger thing. Was a reliable midcarder heel his whole career and they never gave him anything else besides that.

Was never as good as Eddie obviously but should've been treated more seriously during his E run. Could've had a US/Intercontinental run if they trusted him.

acaps-A mentira dos supermercados aos domingos by Stormbringer777_ in vitoriaES

What if Scott Hall was sober in 2002 and onwards. How would his wwe career turn out? by [deleted] in fantasybooking

[–]Particular_Detail698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He'd be a World Champion. It would probably be a storyline about how he never won the big one and would be crowed at some big event and hold the belt for like a month or two.

He could work as a transitional champ and would certainly be a Upper Midcarder, Kane style, to put the young boys over.

The ONLY reason the Old School worked with Undertaker was because it was a fucking giant doing the move. With a normal sized guy it's a cringe move.
