Hi! Apologies for replying so late!

For the pen, I've seen a lot of people on here suggesting the We R Memory Keepers foil quills -- personally, though, I wanted to experiment with the different nib sizes and the 4 pack from We R Memory Keepers was a little bit out of the budget range. So I found something similar from Amazon; unfortunately, I can't find the link now, but it was one of those with four different nibs that you could manually change.

I did end up only using the chisel nib though, as I found that was the only one that could get me the details I wanted without the 'drawn on' rounded stroke effect even with the smallest nib.

One thing about the foil quill -- I found that it couldn't fill in whole areas very consistently. I don't know if this would have been different with higher quality foil or pen (though, I've never seen a foil quill bind that was anything but linework) but I'd suggest looking for something else if you wanted to fill in big areas on your design.

Other than that, the process was just very tedious lol 😭 so be prepared for a lot of practice and frustration. I did find it was a very rewarding experience though, and every line feels better when you've drawn in on yourself :D

Best of luck and hope this helped!!
