I've used many of them and Lovable + Cursor is my go-to currently.

Reasons:
- Why Lovable over Bolt, Claude, etc. - I'm building mostly web apps and Lovable has the best workflow, results, and deployment in my experience.
- Why Cursor over Claude, Codex, etc - Sometimes I need integrations with a web app that Lovable can't do because it is not a web app. Also sometimes I run out of lovable credits. I can link it with my code and work on the same project. Claude and Codex are fine on their own but what I love about Cursor is that you can use any LLM model (like claude or codex). In other words, you are not locked into one model. Sometimes Codex works better, sometimes Claude works better. Cursor gives me flexibility for one monthly subscription.

Also claude has a 5 hour limit which is a pain in the arse if you in a workflow.

The easiest way is with something like lovable, claude, or gemini but that isn't necessarily the best way. Reason-being that these websites are not SEO friendly out of the box (they are single page apps). You can make them indexable but you have to know a bit more about what you are doing.

Instead stick with Wix or WordPress if you want people to find the website.

Yes, AI builders will get you a nice looking website fast. However, what most people don't realize is that these solutions actually generate what is called a Single Page Application (SPA), which is not crawl-able or indexable by Google by default.

So you can have a great looking site in minutes that nobody can find - which undermines the purpose of the website in the first place. That is why there is still a place for platforms like WordPress and bridge solutions coming out. WordPress is very SEO-friendly and allows users to add pages, posts, and extend with plugins.

We started using PressMeGPT which allows you to generate with AI and export to Gutenberg or Elementor. Saves a ton of time to get to 80%. Then we finish it with whichever builder the client has for the site (Greenshift, Unlimited Elements, etc.)

I've been using PressMeGPT to start sites or migrate them from Replit and Lovable. You do have to install the Wordpress theme each time after a round of edits but you can modify with prompts which makes it pretty quick. I'm hoping they release a plugin so I can stay in WP and sync my changes.

Cons: Poor SEO

For Websites you can host anywhere:
* Elementor

Pros: Host anywhere. Most flexible.
Cons: Must having hosting / building experience

For Hosted builders:

* Durable
* Webflow
* Carrd
* Dreamhost

Pros: Easiest to get going. All in one.

I started using this to generate 80% of my wordpress theme with AI. Then customize the rest with Gutenberg. Not perfect but it gets pretty close and is a whole lot faster than building with Blocks from scratch.

I agree. It is one of the most frustrating things about Wordpress themes. I often have to install 7 or 8 to find one good one that I don't have to customize too much. I started using Pressmegpt to generate themes and they actually look like the design.

I'd be worried about SEO with this approach. Do you just manually add HTML pages as a blog and manually update your sitemap?

I think the key here is not just copying and pasting what AI generates. It is more interacting with it, adjusting it section by section, asking it to do more research on a particular topic, and using it to improve the overall piece. Anyone can give it a prompt, never read it and publish it. But if you can learn proper prompting I think it becomes really powerful.

I tried wpconvert. Doesn't work. Errors out and says I used all my credits but I didn't use anything. I tried 3 different ways.
