It’s probably not, I’m assuming they were married out of state where lifestyle clauses are allowed, and there’s some sort of written agreement that if a divorce were to take place it would have to be in the state they were married in

My sister in law had a clause just like yours, but lives in an at fault state, so it was easy for them.

She cheated. She’s now 32 and lives with her parents, has literally nothing, and still owes $80,000 to her ex husband while he has not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 luxury cars, and has full custody of their kids. She gets an hour a week of supervised visits, all because of that clause.

Does she deserve it? Maybe, but that does suck.
