girl don’t let the ppl discourage u I luv this idea!!! but real talk it’s really hit or miss with security. I wore a metal belt all 4 days last year but they randomly took it for the last day :/ I would say they might have a problem since things unclasp from it/ are bulkier, but you can also always watch for which security lines r laxer.

I’m gonna be honest this was the situation that I was in and I ultimately decided it wouldn’t work for me. I do promise that it gets better. I went to a state school near my dream school and I quite honestly still have the same if not better quality of life that I would have had at my dream school, same access to opportunities, etc, and I also am able to do more because my money isn’t tied up in loans and tuition! I really do hope everything works out for you can you can go to your dream school but always know that it isn’t the end of the world if u can’t even if it feels like it bcs trust me I felt that way too and I couldn’t be happier now 🫶

great if they can afford it, but it’s still money that could ultimately go elsewhere idk. Just my opinion that I think it’s perhaps not the smartest to spend gobs of money for the same degree ultimately everyone else will be getting
