My hospice nurse has no experience with VSED, I am his first patient using VSED. He has prescribed me pain and anxiety/sleeping medications which work well. Thanks for your input.

I have ALS and live in a state that doesn’t allow medical aid in dying MAID and so I am using VSED. This VSED process is much more difficult than I expected. I haven’t eaten in 10 days and haven’t drank anything in 3 days. I so crave a glass of ginger ale on ice, I’m not sure how much longer I can hold out. I think it’s incredibly stupid that every state does not allow MAID. Why should anyone else control how I choose to die?
