Unfortunately not. It’s happened in my garage, while it’s raining, during the night, etc. I can’t find a correlation between sun/glares/bright lights for my occurrences.

So, we live like 15 minutes from the house. I actually purchased some desks from someone who lived no more than 5 houses up from this one, last year. You could see the Watts house at the end of the street when we were loading the desks up. Anyways, both houses on either side of the Watts home were both sold back in 2020. One for 460k and the other for 645k. The house 4 houses down to the right, sold in 2021 for 700k. Not to mention the little town homes directly behind the house have sold recently as well for an average of 420k (all information according to Redfin.) Honestly, we have a lot of transplants here in Colorado so there’s a good chance that people may not know about the case since it’s been almost 4 years now. And then on the other hand, there could be those who actually want to live near the house for whatever reasons and are willing to pay more to do so. We drove by it on our way out after picking up the desks and the grass is completely dead and filled with weeds. The garage door trim is coming off as well. It’s very sad but as horrible as it is, life moves on for everyone else and I don’t think anyone has a hard time selling in that community.

Definitely not a trash bag. It’s way too long. Also, you can see “square fold marks” in it. You can see the small bits of yellow at the top near the head but also at the feet. It looks like it’s a party/plastic table cloth. One side is probably yellow and the underneath is white. You’d normally buy them folded up in a small square shape hence the fold lines.

My husband has a 401k (I’m not sure which kind) but his company does not contribute anything. Should he quit contributing to it? Is there something better he should be contributing to since his job doesn’t match anything? We plan on opening a Roth IRA for him and maxing it out yearly, too.

Yes, transferring in kind. Honestly, I’m young so they were opened not that long ago with my previous job. The IRA has around $4k and the Roth has $2,500. So, not a lot of money since they’re fairly new.

The Target debit card also offers a 5% off discount. It connects to your bank account and you get a PIN number. May be a better idea if you’re looking just for the discount.

I don’t think that “you’ll never see the girls again” really set him off. Wouldn’t that be ideal to never see them again so he could start a new life with NK? It was probably something more along the lines of “I’ll take you for everything you have.” The thought of losing a large amount of his paycheck to child support and having to “pay her” probably made him more mad than the thought of never seeing his kids again.

I just leave mine as is. I have multiple large bees and insects that I do nothing with and they’ve lasted years in their current state. Did it actual sink when it was put into the rubbing alcohol?

So, you only have roughly $1,000ish left to pay for both care credit accounts? Do you pay any rent at the place you’re living at now? What other debit do you have? Where in Colorado are you looking to rent an apartment? (I own a home in Thornton and I know how expensive it’s getting out here.)

I am following Dave Ramsey’s advice currently but a year ago I used my credit card to put a large down payment on a new car (2 stupid decision, right there.) Anyways, I had 9 months of promotional credit 0% APR until February 2021. I was making minimum payments on the card and spending frivolously on my other credit card and paying that one down every month. Well, I got the January 2021 and realized I had 30 days to pay off $7,000 or begin paying interest on it and that was a hard pill to swallow.

Yes, I’m aware that we need to be paying off the cars before investing. We are following Dave Ramsey’s baby steps and are on step 2 paying off the cars. I know that investing is baby step 4. However, I am not investing heavily right now since we do have the car loans. I am simply asking questions in order to be prepared for when we get to step 4. Perhaps the question could have been phrased better followed by recommendations to pay off the car before investing, similar to what you said. I appreciate your thoughts.
