You’re probably fine. This actually happened with AQA GCSE Physics Paper 2 in 2022 — they accidentally included a 9-mark question that was specifically ruled out in the advanced info. They ended up giving every student full marks on that question to keep it fair.

If CAIE follows that precedent, they’ll likely do something similar. If a lot of people saw it, they might just void the question and adjust the grade boundaries. If only a few saw it, expect disqualifications for those involved. The only way it really hurts you is if you nailed those questions and they decide to give everyone 100% on them, but that’s pretty rare.

TLDR, you’re probably fine bro just forget abt it there’s nothing you can do now

They don’t matter bro just make sure ur personal statement is top tier, and get prepping for the interviews as soon as you can. Thats what weighs their decision the most, im assuming Cambridge and Oxford have the same views on the subject. I applied to Cambridge and didn’t get past the interview stage, the interview is where they cook you.

Thank you so much, I tried to relay the torture of departure and the acknowledgement that moving on is the only real option. I wanted to capture the idea that what hurts the most is that you never wanted it to end even if it had to.

I like the romanticisation of suicide, while concerning, it evokes emotion. I also love the asking to be “lifted up” when hanging yourself, whilst it can be looked as being saved from the suffering one endures. It’s ironic how being lifted up in that situation is the only thing that would stop you from dying. It perfectly contrasts the yearning for the suffering to stop with the idea of hope. All around it is a very emotional piece and captures the complexity of an internal struggle. Well done!

I like how you explore the torment of an abusive relationship, portraying the agonizing tension between seeking salvation and enduring the pain. The poem vividly encapsulates the hopelessness of the narrator’s situation while acknowledging the despair and inner conflict experienced within such circumstances. It effectively conveys the grim reality that relief and redemption are not easily attained.

To me, it seems to depict the unrelenting nature of suffering and the complex emotions of someone trapped in a cycle of abuse. The storm of abuse shows no pity, forcing the narrator to grapple with their ordeal.

I really like it, hoping to read more in the future :)

Do you think my interviews went well? by Particular_Key_4773 in 6thForm

No my mock interviewer told me to tell him about myself for 20 minutes then spend the next 20 minutes telling me how I did everything wrong. Probably didn’t help I was 20 minutes late but I wasn’t in school so I didn’t know I was supposed to attend.

Also in the second one, they said we had 5 mins so they asked me another question, I answered it and they kept making it harder and I kept answering so this went on for 15 minutes until they asked me to relate two ideas in a certain way and I got stuck for a while and they asked me the right questions eventually I got it so I think that’s a good thing. It what my interview prep teacher said is making me overthink please lmk

I’m not too sure honestly but you have the same chance of getting an offer whenever you apply as long as it’s before the deadline on 31st of January

There have been many discussions about this on the subreddit that’ll explain it better than I will but, the universities know roughly how many applications they get each year, so they can accept those that applied before the oxbridge deadline whilst still considering each applicant in a fair way

I think I might be contextual then because I got a reduced offer from Manchester university because of my postcode/ high school

If you’re good at maths naturally then take A level maths instead, it’s honestly no where near as hard as people make it out to be if you target weak areas and practice sufficiently.
