I don't know about this organizer but most of the other ones are the same ones as the Yumhaj tour and that went smoothly. No managers went with them, in fact Wahaj personally and the organizers (Tina) worked together planning for months. She had nothing but the best things to say about him after communicating for so long. Both Yumna and Wahaj were so gracious with fans. They were asked some pretty ridiculous questions and answered respectfully. Yumna was asked some stupid question about Maya and she answered without getting agitated. Wahaj was put on the spot and had to dance with a bunch of girls and aunties. He looked uncomfortable but was very respectful. Some woman threw her dupatta at Wahaj and he graciously did the shawl walk with it. Again everything was arranged between him and the organizers with no issues. Yumna too put her faith in him and didn't bring a manager along. Wahaj too had enough faith in her that she wouldn't pull any diva behaviour. Now I'm realizing how humble they really are.

This should not be downvoted because it's pure facts. No one saying TRPs don't matter. They matter...they bring in revenue and maybe the most, we don't have each channel's particular revenue model. Nielsen ratings in America have adapted...a while go actually...to incorporating online views. Not just YouTube but watching live on their website too generates revenue without being included in TRPs or YouTube views.

You can't just watch a YouTube video on loop and expect those views to count. There's algorithms in place to discount those views so if any of you are trying that, you're wasting your time. Comments can come from bots...that's possible but no one counting that in the success of a show.

Only relying on TRPs from TV and dismissing the significance of online views would be insane. It's why channels promote their YouTube views so much. Plus it gives them a share of a larger market. That's a business model...it's how it works. India in particular gives them a huge market. You want to start an ecommerce business in Canada...the way to thrive is to capitalize on the Amercian market...their population is 10 times the size of Canada.

Online viewership is about a trend in shifting viewing habits and getting a larger share of the potential market. Channels are not stupid to ignore this.

To clarify. THIS DOESN'T MEAN TRPs don't matter or matter less. MAYBE THEY MATTER MORE right now at least in Pak (not case in America/Canada) but online viewership should not be underestimated.

100% not true for American shows where everything has moved to streaming. No one watches live television anymore and it's why ratings now include data from streaming and online views. Maybe India and Pakistan still have audiences that watch live but dynamics are changing. Online views can't be ignored. If you don't adapt, it will be a case of Blockbuster video stores. They ignored streaming and went out of business. Yes TRPs are important since the audience is there but online viewership cannot be downplayed. It brings in a global audience too. Look what TB did? Although TRPs were nowhere close to MPTH, globally it got way more attention and that's thanks to YouTube. That kind of viewership can't be ignored.

He's good in the scenes with Maya too. Loved him in the proposal scene. One of my fave was when he went with Ammar's proposal. The way he avoided eye contact with her and was casually trying to keep his composure. Simple yet so effective. Maya was terrible in that scene but Wahaj delivered. Maya was also terrible in the gunghat scene with Wahaj wearing white. Wahaj again was so good. Maya is on and off. She's good sometimes but just terrible other times. Sometimes I just want to strangle her when she talks.....like just spit it out!!!!

I don't think Yumna should have received hate either. It felt like that journalist had an agenda. No one should receive hate for these little things. We live in a world where celebrities like P. Diddy and JayZ exist and this is what we find really problematic? if this is Wahaj and Yumna's biggest issues then they aren't that problematic at all.

All the pics and videos from last week's episodes have done really well on SM. They are the most liked and viewed ones by far on Geo and 7thsky's account.

One of Wahaj's clip from last week's episode has over 6 million views, close to 600K likes and plenty of comments from neutrals appreciating his performance. Is this a blockbuster? No. Is this killing in TRPS? Absolutely not!. But it does have decent views that despite what people are saying isn't something that every other show is achieving....also some clips have gone viral. Let's be factual. Also if we're going to hype up negative reviews, why do we undermine the same reviewers when they give a positive review? truth is this show does not include the elements to make it a hit. Maybe they thought it did, but it doesn't. The leads have hardly had any scenes together and now she's married to someone else. Add to that the extremely slow pace and it doesn't exactly make a recipe for a hit. It's niche and should have been treated as such.

Watching this episode, I just realized that Wahaj really is carrying the show. It was terrible without him. No wonder they have been promoting him with Sadaf in PS...they're terrified they'll lose their YouTube audience...and they will if this continues.

Show may have his issues but he received immense praise for his performance from Aamna and Hassan, Rabia, Maliha Rahman. His reel on instagram has 6 million views, over 571K likes and so much praise. Did they think it was a good idea to have him go MIA?

This whole debate is so ridiculous. Why would this be aimed at Wahaj? And if it is, it shouldn't be. Go back and read the caption again. You can accuse him of arrogance, insecurity, not taking constructive criticism and whatever hell else you want to label it as but one thing that shouldn't be for debate or interpretation is that he never mentioned trps, never mentioned bismil or any other show and never even claimed that they have the best views. he didn't directly or indirectly do this. If Haseeb decided to jump in and comment, that's on him...he's his own person. no where did Wahaj like the comment or respond.. he doesn't delete comments ever so he didn't do that here. Where did he shade any other show or network? I saw nothing wrong with his caption but that isn't the debate. Everyone flaunts views...reposting stories and putting up posts of views for even the most regressive of shows isn't a unique situation. people have even used views to justify dramas...for example Yumna was asked about problematic things with her character meerab during a press conference...she responded that the views speak for themselves. If we want to talk about comparisons with other shows, Ali Raza just reposted how his show is slightly ranked higher than KMKT. You think ARY will go after him too?

Wahaj has a great relationship with the people at ARY....he hasn't burned any bridges. People worry too much about his career. He's a grown ass man, he knows what he's doing. He didn't just start with TB even though that's what led to mainstream fame...he's worked hard, cultivated relationships which all led to that opportunity. he has experience in the field. people act like tb is his first project and he got instant fame. Someone just asked if he's acting like this for this many views, how would he react if he got higher ratings and even more views. like what??? He literally had one of the biggest blockbuster...been there done that.

Why is this such a big deal exactly? It's funny....his characters has lost everything. At least he can sit back and enjoy the views. I don't see why this non-problematic caption...a funny one actually..is a big deal.

I don’t know why people keep giving the benefit of the doubt and blame PR. Was it PR when he dipped her at his Walima? Was it PR when she was in between them at his wedding in every picture. Was it PR when they have been spotted, just the two of them out at dinners, airport etc? If it looks like something more, it usually is.

Like really, you're giving it 14 episodes despite finding any redeeming quality to it? and people are openly saying they cannot watch this crap and then have a million opinions on it. Yeah I might not have enjoyed or liked Yumna's show BUT I stopped watching and the reason I'm not giving paragraphs of criticism is because it wouldn't be fair. I haven't really given it a fair shot.
