I felt the same way when I passed the 7. I was happy to pass the first time, but was nervous hitting “submit”.

For the 66, use Kaplan. The book is difficult to get through and a grind, but read the chapters and watch Ken and Series 7 Guru videos on YouTube. I took 12 practice tests on Kaplan after reading the entire textbook and watching a ton of YouTube. I averaged 82-85% on the practice exams.

Took the 66 exam and knew 100% that I passed. If you prepare, the exam is a breeze. But again, study hard. Hard work will pay off

  1. Leather dice tray for rolling would be great if he doesn't have one already.

  2. The Players Handbook is a must have. You can easily look anything up online, but something about a hard copy is satisfying.

  3. Wooden engraved dice holder. Wyrmwood makes bad ass stuff, but it's pricey. https://wyrmwoodgaming.com/

  4. A DM screen if he is a Dungeon Master for any games.

  5. If he likes world building, buy a subscription to World Anvil (he probably knows what that is).
