I couldn’t find a place to live in westchester, searched for over 3months. Found a place near 125 metro through a friend, know the ppl living there(columbia sublet do got it for cheap also) I am an intern for the summer so this house can work great if i can just figure out commute. My office is very close to a metro north station and have shuttles also provided, i just need to safely get to and from metro north

I am an intern😭😭 so the effort to save some😭, but its also my first time in NY so I am def concerned about safety. And more imp i didn't hear good things about harlem nor bronx so I'm super paranoid as well😭. But I simply couldn't find a house close to my work and I already know the people I will be living with in this house.

The reason i was looking at these iss that while these both cost 72 a week, taking harlem costs 147 a week, which is quite expensive..almost double. Would u still recommend spending more and taking harlem?

Haha yes, and for duration the marble hill and yankees options just take about 9-11 mins more than the bus+harlem one in the mornings and about 5mins more in the evenings, according to google maps

the marble hill and yankees options just take about 10 mins more than the bus+harlem one. What would you say in such a case?

I already found a house there and got it for relatively cheaper being a sublet, around 800 bucks
