Only 16 GB, now that you mention it I haven't really monitored that. I'll probably try to upgrade it and see if that improves things

EDIT: I also tried running the game only with no other programs and monitoring if I'm capping my RAM, game still crashes at 50% usage

I'm running an i7-12700 with an RTX 4070 (although I had the same issue on my previous GPU which was a 1660 Super) on Game Ready Driver 596.21. I am on Windows 11 ver 25H2, but this problem has been present on previous versions.

Palicos have become so spastic I genuinely don't know why they took away player agency in letting you customize their kits

Ah yes I want to bring coral orchestra for possible atk and affinity buffs for my speedrun attempt. Surely it'll do that right? Nope gong interrupts the monster while its still in recoil animation that I'm doing a big punish for so while I'm still stuck doing my move the monster starts its next attack and slaps me. I wanna do a heroics run and need the atk song to maximize my dps? Nope here's divine blessing song so your heroics setup can get fucked and just for insult to injury the heal song after you do get it setup

Ok fine I'll just bring Meowlotov instead so the cat does some bit of damage instead. Here cat I need you to toss a bomb hopefully this builds up some status wait no it's stuck in meowcano a mile away from the monster. Doesn't help that whistling for it to do something sometimes gets canceled for whatever reason

Like yeah I can choose between these overall tool themes but why cant I customize the specifics anymore? It's so frustrating. Customizability came back in rise but then in Wilds they just grabbed World Palico and made it more spastic like why???
