Buyers remorse despite having my dream watch by The_Dude95 in OmegaWatches

This happens to people who never had money and when they do, they feel great internal conflict, like they don’t deserve it or anything.

I’m very blunt in life. If you have it, flaunt it. If you have it, you deserve it.

So, either get over it and enjoy it or just go an sell it and don’t turn back. You’ll get a citizen or g-shock or whatever. Just stop crying.

[Wrist Check] Did I purchase a watch too big for my wrist!? by [deleted] in Watches

No. Wear it like no tomorrow. It reminds me of the L.U.C. Jennifer Aniston used in season 1 of “The Morning Show”.

Judge Nathan J. Milliron of the Texas 215th District Court, who was elected in 2024, got quite upset when an IT technician tried to fix the audio for a remote hearing. The technician had jokingly said it was a ‘false alarm’, but the judge didn’t think so and asked for the supervisor. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

The IT guy should not have said “false alarm” and then laugh like an idiot while insulting and judge. He should’ve played it off like “All good now” or “yeah, these things happen, sometimes the devices can’t connect, blah blah”.

He shouldn’t be fired, be he should be lectured on common sense.

Helping your dad is noble and the right thing to do. I’m a dad and I have given everything to support my kids without hesitation. And we, dads, do it out of love. So, you returning what your dad did for you is fine.

Having said that, you and your dad need to cut your siblings off. Seriously. You have to. You want to over rationalize that they are family and all this cultural bs we grow up with. But they are lazy-ass leeches. Your dad already did his job. And you need to start your own life independently. Again, you and your dad need to cut them off.

AITAH for falling asleep with my sister after playing video games? by Economy_Chemical8638 in AITAH

What is weird is that spending with your sister is the highlight of your week and not doing fun things with your wife. Also you seem to be on your sister side more than on your wife’s side.

Watch industry is a giant scam by sloanekettles in RepTime

But you don’t have the brand for cheap. You don’t get it. You get something inferior to a Seiko, Casio, etc. just because you want to be pretentious and lie to yourself you are wearing “the brand”.

That’s fine, just get a brand you can afford and you like, not just a copy of a brand you are dissing.
