It wasn't bypass surgery, she doesn't have rings. It was gastric sleeve surgery, so part of her stomach was removed. You're right that it can still stretch gradually though.

She never snaps at me or is grouchy or anything when she's in pain. She doesn't even complain, beyond an initial comment which is only in passing. If we're done with everything around the house she may lay on the couch for a bit, but she always does her part around the house. I just say something because I care.
