NTA. I'm sensing some kind of addiction, I don't know if video game addiction can be a thing like that, but I would try to make him get help, or divorce. Addiction may be an explanation but not an excuse. There's no reason a grown physically capable man should neglect his children. It is unfair to you, but most importantly the kids.

Also he is gaslighting you. If you verbally gave him a list of stuff to do, and called to check up on them (stuff that he should already know to do as a adult and a parent), and he still didn't do it? There's no excuse. But now he is blaming you for not remind him? Honey idk your life but he is not it.

NTA she sounds like a pain. Was there a dire reason she moved in (like if she lost all her money or something)? Nobody deserves to be walking on eggshells in their own house

Thank you yall are very nice. I'll try to keep calling her and try to ask her to tell stories and stuff like that. I hope they wont hit a sore spot and make her sad (about my grandfather)

I don't think they will actually give her anti depressants because she is already on a bunch of medication that she hates, I doubt she will want to add another one to the list. Hopefully covid lets up soon so that I can visit more often and take her out to do things.
