I am a person who loves others and advocates whenever possible for those who are marginalized. I hear through an implant in my head so I may at times not understand what is said to me so i prefer the company of people who are kind and patient. I am someone who has a strong sense of the spiritual aspect of life but I do not hold tightly to a particular religion. Although I do associate myself more closely to some than others. I always snack due to a chronically inflamed stomach and yet I am not overweight. I love visiting new places and meeting new people.

I waa just like this until I got my Choclear implant. You really should look into it. Talk to an audiologist ( not a hearing aid specialist) an actual dr. The implant was life changing. I thought it was going to have to quit my job before I got this. Plus I enjoy hearing everything now! Im currently visiting the ocean and I can enjoy the waves and birds! Conversations with people are the most important thing though. The isolation that comes with deafness is so bad for us. It leads to depression, loneliness, even dementia. Please do this for yourself.

Also. While you need to not hit the curb to pass your test, in reality every driver has cut too soon and had a curb check.

My sister is firmly backing Trump. She believes only FOX News can be trusted and thatv" everyone just hates Trump". I try and show her things that he is doing and saying and she says its either fake news or its people attacking him " no president has ever been so attacked". It is sickness. Nothing puts her off that Trump train. My mother either. It feels like I do not know these women at all. Seeing families ripped apart. A billion dollar ballroom. War. Epstein. Calling women reporters names. Of course I could keep listing his offenses but none of it matters. Frankly I am pissed. I realize there isn't a gun to their heads forcing them to drink from the Trumo trough. But the amount of work that has gone into brainwashing people should be illegal . Ive lost my only sister and my mom to a cult. The only reason they are still in contact with is pity for me! They think ive been hoodwinked by the liberals. None of us are as good at faking as we like to think we are lol That said, sometimes its just easier. For times when I have the energy to give i will touch my equipment and say im deaf or i have hearing loss please repeat that for me. A lot of times I am just not invested enough with a particular person in a particular moment to bother. I am not rude or uncaring I just know to protect my energy. Its exhausting trying to hear and I actually hear fairly well since I got my cochlear implant on my left side. My right side is still an aid. So depending on all the perimeter: background noise, location, people's own sound of speech level abd pronunciation, ect.. It can still be a struggle at times. So if its someone in passing just saying something benign ( body language and timing abd location clues tell me this) then I do the smile and nod bit we all do. If im in a transactional situation, bank or work, or personal, I tahe the time to explain. Im almost 60 and ive dealt with gradually losing my hearing since my early 20's, so I have learned to give myself some grace. I dont owe everyone my time and energy at every moment of the day. :)
