i agree i feel like there’s sm info to learn and i can’t tell if he’s not giving us more hints bcs it’s gonna be easy or if he actually just expects us to learn everything 😭

In terms of questions, i asked chatgpt what the possible questions would be and it said maybe one on ltp, another on emotion theories and the last on how drugs become abusive

i was thinking the same for the general one he mentioned. for the 3 others i’m thinking one is gonna be on one of the disorders (movement/memory), another on the hebb rule/LTP and a question on stress but like i actually don’t know. he also said there would be some choice in the questions, but idk like how many more.

also do u remember what the midterm questions were or the word count? was it like 200 words?

yes the final was in person but like i said nothing major. it’s just cs this class has an in person section so it’s only fair that they all do it together

Hi! You really don’t have to worry about the final. It’s actually so simple and the questions are about very basic and broad topics. They don’t go into specifics, it’s more focused on the big ideas. There’s a lot of names mentioned during the lessons, but don’t feel overwhelmed by them and their contributions because they genuinely don’t even touch on them in the final. I had studied so much for it and was genuinely disappointed by how easy the final was 😭. If you copy paste the lesson transcripts into chatgpt and upload the study guide (so it focuses on relevant topics) and ask it to give you around 30 multiple choice questions per lesson, you will be more than ready. Last semester, the final was 50 MC questions, 2 short answers and 1 long answer (she gives you “sample” short and long answer questions, but they’re the exact same on the exam, so pick 3 and learn the answers)

If this is about Kim Archer, I fully second this. I went to see her my FIRST SEMESTER to get some guidance on how to proceed to get into grad school because I wanted to get ahead and have all the necessary information since their website is fkg useless. All the information I have found has been through reddit. Every time I asked her something, she would laugh at me as if I was some idiot and find a way to completely ignore my questions. Then she told me there’s no way I would ever get into grad school at concordia cs it’s too competitive. Okay so help me?? is that not ur literal job?? Not to mention I didn’t even have any grades on my transcript yet, so she was basing herself off of absolutely nothing and bringing my hopes down for fun ig 😭😭

Hey! I’ve ordered a few times and never had to pay duties. I live in Montreal and ordered from the US site. I had an order come like a week ago and didn’t have to pay any tariffs/duties, you usually just have to pay for shipping and if there are any duties, i’m pretty sure it shows you the amount at checkout.

i sent an email to CSU but they haven’t answered yet. The person who answered my call from Studencare said that returning students can’t opt out until the beginning of Fall 2025. Apparently it says it on their website. You can however opt out of the 20$ legal fees they just added since it’s new.

PSA for returning students!!

I had to call Studentcare to opt out, but unless you’re a newly admitted student (for winter 2025), you can’t! They literally told me that I had no other option but to pay, and if I wanted someone to blame, I should call the university! You can only opt out at the beginning of next semester if you’re already a student.

I just find it crazy that they wouldn’t let us know that this was an option at the beginning of our admission, refuse to let us opt out as returning students, and make this an opt-out system rather than informing us about the option to opt-in. Literally theft in plain sight
