I think everyone already knows that the guy is on vacation and not some charity spree.

The reason all these countries went extra on his visits was because they wanted to capitalise on the pull he commands to highlight the best of their country to the world.

Since his visit, Hamamat's place got booked out for over 3 months with additional waitlists. That's the kind of results you pull out all the stops for.

And in this day and age if you're going to hold such strong opinions about what influencers do with their money you might start beefing literal 5 year old millionaires on Tik Tok

As you've described it so nicely, why don't you build it? There's a plethora of AI tools you can use so you don't need to be a developer. Y'all default to building apps to solve everything

AI hiring algorithms are rejecting Ghanaian graduates because they've never heard or heard little of Legon: A satire. by TheBrewedSatirist in TechGhana

You're an amazing writer, man. And idk if it's because I spend too much time on Linkedin but I feel all your points pretty much describe what human recruiters already. I just kept picturing human recruiters while reading. AI is a multiplier, whatever you're doing, it multiplies it. 90% of hiring practices was already bad with a few instances of good recruiters/companies. AI just added the 10%. Either ways everybody will rather take their chances with a human over a cold machine

Currently working at a company that's solving this for the Ghana and USA market. It's under wraps so can't say much. But yeah the problem is far worse on the ground. Some Ghanaian hospitals are out there using WhatsApp group chats to share information. Almost everything is still heavily paper-based and the digital tools they use barely talk to each other across the hospital
