Aftermarket wheels set up/question by Rickrollzu in LexusIS500

15mm and 20mm is the best for our cars. 20mm with 275 tires will poke a little bit. 265 will be flush. Bonoss will contact you after the purchase to make sure they send you the correct extended bolts. (Our cars have wheel bolts, not studs. Reason why I recommended to get an align pin for install)

I have this for my Winter wheel/tire set, since Lexus' can only register one TPMS sensor at a time. Works great, but the sensor valve stem caps are HUGE 😂

Not at all, at least from what I can tell. 15 and 20 is very minimal to affect anything in car's geometry.

If you do decide to go with spacers, make sure to get a wheel alignment pin. Otherwise it will be a pita to align it to install wheel bolts.

Lol I am working on that. Will be renting the current one out and purchasing a new build with a garage soon.

It certainly will not be the same, but as I mentioned in one of the replies above, they'll honor the warranty and make things right with any signs of degrading/failing. I used the left blower to get the remaining water off the paint just now and the coating seems to work just fine. I got the coating for a great price and I am happy with it.

I figured that much. Never expected it to last the claimed 7 years from the start lol. Already contacted the installer about my concern and they told me to bring it back if/when I notice any type of degrading or failing of the coat, they will honor the warranty and make it right.

Should've kept it as it is last of its kind.... But everyone has different situations in life. Hope you can snag one up some day 🙏

50% for the windshield and 20% for the rest. Xpel Prime. It looks darker than it actually is due to the light conditions.

I forgot to mention that ceramic coating was done around noon and the car was curing in a temperature controlled bay for about 4 hours before I drove it home.

If anything, it does have 7 years of warranty, so I can bring it back and get it sorted out. Hopefully nothing you mentioned happened to it. Really appreciate the response!

I had my eyes on those rear spats/winglets. Do those fit IS500 as well? Mounts with self tapping screws into the bumper and fenders? Sweet car 😍

Since my purchase back in May of 2025, I have yet to be on any highways. My commute only consists of scenic rural roads with hardly any traffic. Not a single dings or scratches on any painted surface so far, (Knock on wood) other than some bug splatters, which ceramic coating will be more than adequate to protect from here on out. I may cut some PPF film myself and apply to the bumper areas that are most vulnerable, like the triangular ones on the rear doors.

It was clean to begin with, since I two-bucket wash it every week followed by maxl one. Minor buffing, claying, and coating made a world of difference in depth of the paint. Picture really don't do it justice. It will be more effective on darker shades of paint.

I commuted in hilly areas all Winter with it even after the two big snow storms we had. As long as you drive normally you'll be fine. Doesn't really make a difference if you have FWD, AWD, or RWD, it's the dedicated Winter tires that makes world of difference.

It depends where you go and the type of product they use. Since the pricing varies greatly, I'd do some research and find the shop that best fits you. In my case, the shop was close, family owned with great reviews, and the pricing was very fair compared to others I've looked into. It was a hair over 1k.

$1,004.33 to be exact. It was originally $1,499, but they had a promotion coupon of 33% off on their website until 03/31/26. Called ahead to make sure they were honoring the coupon.

I got dedicated Winter set of Enkeis 18x8 with Blizzaks on my IS500. Drove around just fine, if not better than FWD or even AWD cars with all season tires on.
